The Obihiro River, surprisingly rich in nature despite being in the middle of a city, attracts numerous migratory birds, including Whooper Swans, from Siberia and other regions during the winter. In the early morning, in the gentle downstream section, you can observe a magnificent landscape and the graceful gathering of various birds. Furthermore, when temperatures are low, you can witness the phenomenon of "rime ice," where water vapor from the river freezes on tree branches. It's a breathtakingly beautiful spectacle, a work of art created by the harsh, austere nature. Enjoy a cruise on a safe "E-boat," gazing at the fantastical sight of sparkling rime ice. Experience the unique winter nature of Hokkaido here in Tokachi. Cruising leisurely on the enchanting Obihiro River♪ We'll cruise along the gently flowing Obihiro River, observing the birds gathered amidst the magnificent scenery. A nature experience only possible in winter At this time of year, you can see migratory birds, including Whooper Swans, and experience the phenomenon of "rime ice," where water vapor from the river freezes on tree branches when temperatures drop below -15 degrees Celsius. Includes a local sweets souvenir! At the end of the tour, you'll receive delicious local sweets as a souvenir.
